The Run a Faster 10K ten week course is held from Wednesday, April 10th to Wednesday, June 12th, 2019, each Wednesday from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Join us for engaging workouts with our highly experienced and inspiring run clinic leader, Rick Wright. 

This clinic begins the second week of April. Each session will start at the new store at 300 Queen Street West.  Sign-up at the link below. $40.00 is for all 10 weeks. You will receive the full benefit of this clinic by starting on Week 1, however you are welcome to sign-up until the third week (fee of $40.00 still applies). There are no make up sessions.

A gradual training program designed for participants who are currently comfortable running between 5K to 10K, to run faster over the course of 10 weeks. Participants often begin at different levels of fitness and are encouraged to complete each training session to the best of their ability. This Run 10K program is progressive and fun. Experience running at least 5 kilometres continuously is recommended.

Weekly sessions will cover training, fitness and technique, and a group run session. A training plan will be provided to you at the first session outlining the entire clinic, including recommended training you’ll do on your own outside the weekly sessions with the run leader and group.

Please note:  

  • The store location: effective April 6th, our new downtown store is at 300 Queen Street West.
  • All sessions will start at and return to the store. 
  • Yes, you can change into your running gear at the store. We have change rooms and washrooms (second floor). If you need to change, please allow yourself enough time before the clinic starts.
  • We will have a spot for clinic participants to store their bags, however, you should keep your valuables with you.
  • Need water? You can fill up your water bottle at the store, on the second floor.
  • This clinic will run weekly, for 10 weeks, each Wednesday at the specified time. Rain or shine? Yes, except for events outside our control. Should the unforseen happen, you will receive an email notification at the address you provide.
